JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a caretaker in Degerfors municipality, you have a social role where you work closely with your colleagues. We are responsible for the municipality's sports facilities and collaborate with and provide service mainly to primary schools, preschools, high schools, and elderly care. Here, you are a significant employee in a service profession where you come into contact with many people. We constantly strive to improve in our professional roles and thus take pride in the work performed.

Our tasks are varied, with most cases coming in through a case management system and assigned to you by the supervisor. The work may include various repairs, installations, moving furniture, snow removal, plowing, and some cleaning. You maintain contact with the requester in the system and report any delays.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who strives to provide good service, has a pleasant demeanor, and strong social skills. You take responsibility by being thorough and loyal to your assignment and have the ability to work independently as well as in a team. You are practically oriented, show interest, willingness, and commitment to performing good work, and you are flexible. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Requirements: You have a B driver's license for manual transmission and basic IT skills. You can communicate well in Swedish with colleagues and customers and follow written and verbal work instructions and document accordingly. Since the work involves movement throughout the work shift, you need to have the physical fitness required to be able to walk and stand for the entire workday, perform heavier transfers, and repeat work tasks.

Meritorious: Experience in service professions, experience and/or education in a craft area, previous experience in caretaking, handling a tractor.
