Our nursing group is very experienced, so both district nurses, nurses, and nursing assistants will take good care of you as our new colleague. Our district nurses work with subspecialization in asthma/COPD and diabetes, while the child health care is managed by district nurses who only work with that assignment. We also have a nurse responsible for patients on anticoagulant medication. Together with other health centers in the northern part of the county, we are responsible for the Health Center Emergency Service, which is open in the evenings and on weekends.

District Nurse/Nurse to Nora Health Center

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the district nurse at the health center include both acute and planned patient-facing work, own planned consultations, telephone advice, wound treatment, supervision of students, and work at the Health Center Emergency Service, etc. Additionally, there will be responsibilities assigned based on interest and experience.

An obvious part of the job is to ensure that all patients receive a pleasant reception and are well taken care of with us. There are great opportunities to manage your own work situation, and we want you as an employee to contribute to the development of the business with your thoughts, ideas, and willingness to work with new methods.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse, preferably further educated to district nurse. You may be new to the profession or have several years of experience working at a health center. Work experience relevant to the position will be included in the overall assessment of your qualifications.

As a person, you have a high level of initiative and responsibility, as well as a high level of service and are pleasant in your interactions with both patients and colleagues. Qualities such as flexibility and teamwork are important to us as we have good collaboration with healthcare neighbors within the region and with Nora Municipality. We place great importance on personal suitability.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
