We are now looking for a new employee for one of our daily activities according to LSS in Hallsberg municipality.

The position is a permanent employment at 100%. Working hours are daytime Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibilities

The work involves collaborating with the user, their relatives and representatives, as well as other staff to shape an operation where the individual's needs and interests are at the center.

This is a job for you who see opportunities in every individual, have great patience and interest in working with people, and enjoy working in a structured manner. You are calm and have the ability to think and carry out tasks/activities independently and with others. This means that each individual should have a comprehensible, manageable, and meaningful everyday life. You should be able to express yourself well in both speech and writing. Delegated health and medical care tasks may occur.

The setup for this position is as follows: You work with one user. The user lives in an LSS accommodation and will have their daily activities with you. You start your work shift at the accommodation and get the user ready in the morning, then you go together to the daily activity. At the daily activity, you are responsible for this particular user and engage in various activities. The activities can be done alone but also together with other users at the daily activity. When the daily activity is over, you go home together to the accommodation where you drop off the user. In short, you follow the user throughout their day.

Qualifications

The educational requirement is the Care and Nursing Program, preferably with a focus on disabilities, the Child and Leisure Program, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.

You should have a good approach, a positive view of people, and be flexible and responsible. It is important that you are a warm person while also having a professional and clear attitude towards users, relatives, and colleagues. To manage the work, you need to be a mature person who can see opportunities instead of obstacles, be unpretentious, and have good collaboration skills. Experience working with disabilities is an advantage. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. You should enjoy a challenge and work on development in the short and long term.

It is advantageous if you have worked with clarifying pedagogy, communication aids, social stories, and low-arousal approaches.

A driver's license is required, preferably with experience driving a minibus.
