We are now looking for a support assistant for a group home within LSS!

The position is located at the residence, Nytorgsgatan. The residence is situated in central Hallsberg within walking distance to the center. It is a group home with 6 places. Individuals living in the group home have their own apartment with shared spaces for cooking and socializing. The group home is intended for individuals who need supervision and care. Staff is available around the clock.

The role of the support assistant includes, among other things:

• Participating in the user's daily life and providing support in their daily activities based on the established implementation plan and set goals.
• Performing care tasks and certain delegated healthcare tasks.
• Documenting and working in Hallsberg municipality's operational system.
• Participating in ongoing operational development and further education.

Qualifications

For this position, we are looking for someone with a high school diploma from the nursing program or the child and leisure program, preferably with an elective in disability. You may also have other education that the employer deems equivalent.

Computer skills are required. We place great emphasis on competence and personal suitability, where the ability to collaborate and flexibility are highly valued.

The role of the support assistant requires you to be attentive to the signals you receive and to encourage the user to express their own will. An important task is to work to ensure that the user is actively involved in planning the support, as well as in community life in general, which requires good pedagogical skills. Some of our users can manage a lot on their own and primarily need support in the form of verbal guidance and motivation, while others may have a significant need for support and help in all situations.

A B driver's license is required, and preferably experience driving a minibus.

The position is a full-time temporary position from 2025-02-01 to 2025-08-31 with scheduled working hours during the day, evening, and weekend.
