We are now looking for a nurse at Nytida Yxe Herrgård in Lindesberg for our HVB home. The position is a parental leave substitute from March 2025 to February 2026. As a nurse, you will work weekdays between 06:50 and 16:30.We offer ongoing method training and several benefits.

About Nytida Yxe Herrgård

Nytida Yxe Herrgård HVB was established in 1984. We have 50 places for individuals over 18 years old with substance abuse and mental disabilities. There are 30 places at Yxe Herrgård and the remaining 20 places are in our transition accommodations located in central Lindesberg and Nora.

At Yxe Herrgård, we provide care and treatment based on an individual, cognitive approach in a safe and homely environment – with the person at the center. Yxe Herrgård offers treatments, assessments, medication consultations, recreation, various forms of talk therapy, as well as ADL and social training, individually tailored activities, and accommodations in different stages.

The treatment foundation at Yxe Herrgård is based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which underpins the choice of treatment methods used.

At Yxe Herrgård, around 30 employees work together. We have nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, psychotherapists, and treatment pedagogues. We have extensive experience and competence in our respective fields. Staff members participate in ongoing further education within our areas of operation. Staff can attend orientation courses in CBT and MI. The treatment group at Yxe Herrgård is trained in the programs used.

About the role

In the role of nurse, you will be responsible, together with a colleague, for the work within the HSL part of our operations. This means you will work with and care for our clients' physical and mental well-being, establish care plans, manage medications, and perform other customary tasks included in the job. As a nurse, you will also be part of the team surrounding each client, which includes nursing assistants, treatment staff, doctors, and therapists. We actively work to change the perception of mental disabilities by always starting from individual needs and wishes. As a nurse, you play an important role in our work around this. Our goal is to help provide each person with the individual tools and strategies they need to live a meaningful life

Your experience and knowledgeYou are a licensed nurse with knowledge of and a strong interest in individuals with psychiatric issues. Co-occurring substance abuse is often part of the clients' illness picture. We consider it an advantage if you have further education in psychiatry and/or experience in similar work.
