Baggängen Health Center is located in southern Karlskoga, near Karlskoga Hospital and is part of the Close Care area. The health center has about 11,000 registered patients and is one of five health centers in the organizational western part of the county, three of which are located in Karlskoga town. Baggängen Health Center is responsible for three special accommodations in the local area and has a shared responsibility for the municipal family center. The county's primary care emergency service is physically located at Baggängen Health Center and is jointly staffed by the five health centers. The Close Care area is tasked with providing care that is commonly occurring, often recurring, or chronic and therefore needs to be geographically close to the patients. The idea behind close care is to bring care within hospitals, health centers, and municipalities closer together. We aim to meet people with complex needs and chronic illnesses in an even better way and work health-promoting and disease-preventive for all county residents.

General Practitioner/Family Specialist at Baggängen Health Center

Job Responsibilities

Your job responsibilities include outpatient work with acute and planned visits, rounds with our skilled specialist nurses. Rounds at nursing homes and with municipal nurses in home care may occur, as well as service at the municipal family center. It also includes supervision of medical students and AT/ST/BT doctors as well as some on-call duties at the Health Center Emergency in Karlskoga.

Qualifications

You should be a licensed general practitioner/specialist, with several years of experience in the profession. You should have an easy time creating good meetings with both patients and colleagues, and have a safe and professional approach. You should have good pedagogical skills as you will act as a supervisor, and it is advantageous if you have supervisor training. You should be flexible and open to development and change projects and be able to see it as a natural part of your work. As a person, you are stable and can easily adapt to different situations and have very good collaboration skills. We believe it is important that you have a positive and professional attitude and that you can also work independently and be flexible. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
