We are now starting a new operation within general psychiatry in Örebro, a specialist psychiatric care team, known as SPOT team. SPOT is a person-centered and flexible form of care that provides benefits for the patient's well-being when frequent care interventions can be provided at home. This form of care also allows for increased support and contact with the patient's relatives.

Providing support at home allows the patient to continue living a more independent life in their home environment even during periods when their well-being declines. For others, it may mean an opportunity to return home earlier from hospital care. When the well-being improves and the team's intervention concludes, the patient returns to their regular outpatient contact within psychiatry. The care model is flexible, where patients in a more acute stage can receive daily home visits and support conversations. As the patient feels better, the support can be reduced.

Job Responsibilities

With us, you will become an integral part of the care team. You will have collegial camaraderie and the opportunity for significant patient contact. You have a genuine interest in individuals with mental health issues and how, through teamwork—both internally and externally—and together with relatives, you can support the individual in returning to life outside the ward. We work in teams with coordinators, doctors, nurses, and caregivers.

Qualifications

You are a psychiatric nurse or general nurse with good self-awareness and are secure as a person. You have an innovative, reflective, and thoughtful approach.
