About the assignment

Bemannia is now accepting expressions of interest from those who have a university degree with a qualification as an archivist and have work experience as an archivist! We will be forwarding assignments to organizations within the public sector. As a consultant with us, you will receive a fixed-term employment, which means that you will be employed for the assignment we match you for and that you are interested in!

Your tasks

We offer you assignments with our clients who operate within the public sector. The tasks may vary within the framework of the role, examples of tasks include:

• Retrieval and release of information in the form of public documents from physical archives, historical collections, e-archives, and databases
• Conducting disposal investigations regarding which documents are preserved and what can be disposed of
• Conducting assessments and investigations regarding the physical storage of documents
• Participating in the establishment of guidelines and governing documents for internal archival work
• Supporting and educating the organization in archival and document management issues

Your qualifications

• University degree intended for archivists
• The university education must have included at least two semesters of archival science
• Good knowledge of laws and regulations governing public operations and the archivist's function and responsibility
• At least three (3) full years of current work experience in the field
• Good knowledge of MS Office - good knowledge means that you are accustomed to working with the MS Office packages
• Familiarity with document and case management systems (such as Platina or Public 360) is desirable
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Must be able to provide reference assignments from the last two years that confirm your work experience in the relevant field
