Do you want to work for music rights at the heart of our operations? We are looking for an independent consultant who enjoys being out in the field and wants to ensure that artists get paid when their music creates value in public spaces across Sweden.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Consultant, you are SAMI's extended arm in the field. Your role is to identify and document music usage in everything from restaurants and gyms to shops and other public spaces. You work to ensure that musicians and artists receive their rightful compensation, making your work a crucial part of the music economy's cycle.

You will be part of a dedicated team of ten people. While the inside sales team handles the initial contact via mail, it is you who takes over on-site to validate the need for licensing. You work independently but maintain close contact with the office for follow-up and support.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer visits and specific control assignments based on planned visit lists.
• Visit businesses to identify music usage and validate technical equipment and speaker placement.
• Document your findings and observations in real-time via our app directly into the business system Salesforce (Ringo).
• Independently establish effective visit plans in consultation with the Head of Sales and Marketing and contribute suggestions to develop our processes and tools.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

We are looking for a reliable, honest, and responsible person we can trust in all situations. You are comfortable working independently and have the ability to navigate smoothly in various types of environments. Furthermore, we see that you have:

• Experience working in the field; your primary working area is Stockholm, but you also enjoy planned trips to other cities around the country (about 1–2 travel weeks per month, usually Monday to Thursday).
• Good computer skills, with experience in Salesforce seen as a significant plus.
• The ability to adapt working hours according to business opening hours, which means working late afternoons and evenings may occur.
• A stable and unpretentious attitude where you see the role as a long-term part of your career.
• A valid driver's license and excellent proficiency in Swedish.
