ABOUT THE POSITION

We are now seeking a Corporate Actions Specialist for an exciting consulting assignment with one of the major banks. In this role, you will be involved in the establishment of a new department, where your expertise in the field will help build effective processes from the ground up. You will play a key role in the strategic work of launching a new external platform. The work takes place at the bank's headquarters in Sundbyberg.

As mentioned above, this is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant for the bank in question.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Create and establish workflows for corporate actions
• Document and implement routines for the department's operations
• Be responsible for accurate data management and information flows from various market sources
• Support your department through guidance and training in corporate actions
• Work on testing and implementing the new platform
• Communicate with internal and external parties to drive the department's goals forward
• Continuously stay updated on regulations to ensure that the operations comply with the applicable requirements

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has several years of experience working with corporate actions in banking, finance, or securities management
• Knowledge of various areas within corporate actions, such as dividends and issuances
• Experience in developing and documenting routines and processes
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as both languages are used in daily work

It is an advantage if you:

• Have previous experience in implementing systems and/or platforms
