Order Clerk at the Royal Order of His Majesty

The Royal Order of His Majesty (KMO) is the office that, on behalf of H.M. The King, handles various order and medal matters. The original and most important task is to assist the Order Chapter. The Order Chapter constitutes the highest governing body of the Swedish orders and meets once a year, usually in April, under the leadership of H.M. The King. If necessary, extraordinary Order Chapters can be held at other times.

We are now looking for an Order Clerk at KMO.

Responsibilities include:

  • Correspondence
  • In collaboration with the Vice Order Clerk, be responsible for the processing of H.M. The King's awarded medals
  • Preparation of programs for medal ceremonies
  • Be responsible for KMO's order inventory - physically and digitally
  • Be responsible for ordering from Svenska Medalj AB for the medals awarded by H.M. The King
  • Other administrative tasks within the Order Office

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in administrative work
  • Very good knowledge of Office 360, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Good writing skills and fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Academic education or equivalent is an advantage
  • Knowledge of German and French is an advantage

Other information about the employment

  • The employment is a permanent full-time position with an initial probationary period.
  • Before a decision on employment is made, a security review with a background check will be conducted according to the provisions of the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
