Accounts Assistant for Consulting Assignment

About the Position

SJR is now hiring an Accounts Assistant for a 6-month consulting assignment with immediate start. You will be welcomed into a wonderful team of four within the finance group, with a flexible workplace and the opportunity to work remotely a few days a week. Our client is a larger corporation with its office located in Kungsholmen, central Stockholm.

Main Responsibilities

In the role of accounts assistant, you will primarily work with accounts receivable for one of the client's smaller companies and occasionally support your colleague with accounts payable. You will handle registrations and book incoming payments, investigate unclear/open items, respond to inquiries via phone/email, perform reconciliations, and participate in/assist with the year-end closing process. When supporting accounts payable, you will perform payments, controls, coding, and reminders.

Suitable Background

For this role, we are looking for an Accounts Assistant with at least 1 year of experience in year-end closing who understands how a year-end closing works, has declared VAT, and perhaps has also prepared a simple annual report. To be successful in this role, we believe you have a degree in finance and previous experience with similar tasks, as well as a good understanding of the financial flow. Furthermore, you are accustomed to working in Excel. You communicate well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
