We are now looking for a dedicated and structured staffing assistant as one of our skilled staffing assistants is retiring.

The assignment mainly involves working together with a colleague to staff and manage schedules. You will redistribute staff in somatic and dementia units based on acute and planned absence, add newly hired staff, and remove staff from the schedule. Other tasks related to scheduling and staffing may also occur.

You will work closely with our unit managers and have daily contact with our nursing assistants and substitutes.

You will plan introductions and help new employees get settled.

Your tools are your phone and the staffing system Medvind.

The employment covers 100% with work from Monday to Friday, including public holidays that fall on Monday to Friday. A probationary period applies after individual assessment.

About You

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in staffing and scheduling work, as well as knowledge of the Working Hours Act (ATL). The assignment places high demands on planning and organizational skills and requires you to be a problem solver who can handle situations where multiple cases need to be processed simultaneously. We want you to have a positive attitude, a strong sense of service, and the ability to collaborate with others. You have good communication skills in both speech and writing.

You play an important role in the organization as the manager of the care staff's schedule and the spider in the web of the organization's staffing supply.

You have experience working in Medvind or similar systems and possess good general computer skills.

Danvikshem is operated by the Danviks Hospital Foundation, which is a non-profit foundation without profit interests. Danvikshem is a unique building with preserved charm and a castle-like feel, overlooking Djurgården. The foundation was established in 1551 when Gustav Vasa decided to move Stockholm's hospital from the current Riddarholmen to Danviken. The current Danvikshem was inaugurated in 1915 and today offers care and nursing accommodation for the elderly.
