Job Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an Information Officer / Communicator for our client! In this role, you will support the network expansion with communication expertise in several projects. You will be part of the unit that focuses on regional dialogues and communication in network expansion. The communicators in the unit have common working methods and collaborate as needed to ensure communication that contributes to the progress of the projects while also strengthening the brand.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and executing communication that contributes to the progress of the projects, focusing on communication to those affected by the projects, directly or indirectly.
• Supporting the project spokespersons and ensuring that external communication maintains a consistent message based on the existing messages for network expansion.
• Working closely with program communicators and other project communicators, and being part of the unit in the communications department that focuses on communication in network expansion and regional communication.
• Being both advisory and operational.

Qualifications

• You have a university degree, at least a Bachelor’s degree, in media and communication studies, behavioral science, or journalism.
• You have at least 5 years of work experience in communication within projects/operations that affect the public.
• You have at least 5 years of work experience in independently driving, planning, and executing target group-adapted communication and relationship-building communication activities.
• You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• At least 1 year of work experience in a government agency and/or in another public sector is an advantage.
• At least 1 year of work experience in adapting content for digital channels is an advantage.

To succeed in the role of Information Officer / Communicator, you have good collaboration and initiative skills. You are flexible and clear in your communication. You have the ability to work independently and goal-oriented, and you can communicate complex issues tailored to different target groups.

Our client is a state-owned enterprise that manages the transmission network for electricity in Sweden. They also conduct research and development projects in many areas to promote new technology. The headquarters is located in Stockholm, and as a consultant, you will need to undergo a security clearance for most assignments.

Start Date and Application

Full-time, office hours. Our client wishes to start around 2025-03-01, and the assignment is expected to run until 2026-02-28 with the possibility of extension. There is an opportunity to work partially remotely. Before starting the assignment, a security clearance must be completed, which can take up to 8-10 weeks.
