About the position

As an Accountant, you will play an important role in our accounting department. The team of 13 handles the accounting for all companies in the group, which operate in real estate, shipping, breeding, and environmental technology.

Your main responsibilities:

• Participate in performing legal accounting and reporting for legal entities
• Participate in ensuring that the closing process is well documented and followed
• Co-responsible for actively conducting and ensuring internal control within CA
• Participate in the audit process
• Participate in performing ongoing accounting
• Participate in closing the financial statements
• Participate in performing account reconciliations
• Participate in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for legal entities
• Participate in reporting outcomes in the group system
• Participate in preparing VAT reports, F-tax, and tax declarations
• Participate in preparing annual reports for legal entities
• Other tasks within the area of responsibility as needed

You will work closely with the business and proactively contribute to improvements in our processes and routines. Digitalization has progressed far with us, and we have high ambitions to continuously streamline and stay at the forefront.

Suitable background

We are looking for someone with at least a high school diploma and a couple of years of experience in accounting. Previous experience with Agresso/Unit4 is an advantage. Fluent Swedish and very good English skills, both spoken and written, are required.

As a person, you are positive, driven, meticulous, and analytical with the ability to see the big picture. You have strong integrity and enjoy working independently as well as in a team. You are a good communicator and have strong self-leadership skills.
