Your new role

As a payroll specialist at Lassila & Tikanoja in Sweden, you will, together with a colleague, have the overall responsibility for ongoing payroll management and the entire payroll process. You will provide support and advice to both managers and employees on payroll-related issues, and the work also includes reconciliation of payroll-related accounts. The role also offers the opportunity to develop and improve payroll processes and routines over time to ensure smooth and efficient payroll management.

In addition to daily payroll tasks, you are responsible for keeping up to date with changes in laws and collective agreements. You will handle administration related to employment contracts, departures, and schedule management, and ensure that absences and approvals in the pre-systems are carefully checked. The role involves close collaboration with HR and the Finance function, as well as reporting to the group management in Finland. You will also contribute to annual salary reviews and be responsible for pension and government reporting, holiday year transitions, and employer declarations.

The role is based in Solna, and you report to the Group HR Manager.

Who do we think you are?

We are looking for a confident payroll specialist with a few years of experience in payroll management. You have a relevant payroll education or equivalent experience, and you have worked for a few years with the payroll process, both for collective agreement employees and salaried employees. Your system skills are very good, you are comfortable with the Office suite, especially Excel, and you are curious about the possibilities of digitalization. Experience working in SD Worx is an advantage, as we use this system for our payroll administration.
