We are now looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Financial Controller.

We are looking for someone with solid experience in accounting, tax and VAT, group accounting, and who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your role

As a Financial Controller, you will be a central part of our accounting team and act as the spider in the web between accounting and controlling. You will have overall responsibility for financial controlling and manage parts of the companies' ongoing accounting, analysis, follow-up, group accounting, and reporting. You will also have ongoing contact with the parent companies and the company's auditors. Your role includes, among other things:

• Ensuring that the companies' accounting meets internal and external requirements, including VAT and tax management.
• Managing the ongoing handling of the companies' VAT and tax.
• Following up and analyzing the balance sheet and income statement.
• Developing and quality-assuring group accounting, group reporting according to IFRS16 and other relevant accounting principles and guidelines regarding financial information.
• Responsible for year-end closing, audits, and annual reports.
• Developing, streamlining, and quality-assuring accounting processes at all levels.
• Supporting the accounting team and driving various projects related to accounting and financial controlling.

You will be part of a team of ten people, where two of you work with financial controlling. You report to the Head of Accounting and are welcomed to our beautiful office in Stadshagen, Kungsholmen, where we apply hybrid work. We offer a permanent position that begins with a probationary period of 6 months. Desired start date according to agreement.

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in accounting, especially in VAT, tax, and group accounting, and who is confident in their expertise. You have a senior profile and a strong ability to take responsibility for both operational and strategic issues within accounting and finance, as well as lead the development of the company's group accounting. The role suits you if you want to be a key player in our team and actively contribute to both ongoing accounting and projects aimed at streamlining and developing our processes. More specifically, we are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree with a focus on accounting/audit.
• At least 5 years of experience at one of the major auditing firms.
• Several years of experience in accounting within retail or a related industry.
• Very good skills in Excel.
• Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Navision is an advantage.

You have a high degree of independence and confidence in your work, while also being a team player who enjoys collaborating and contributing to a good work climate.
