About the Organization

Lyrfågelskolan is located in the eastern part of Trollhättan and is a F-9 school. The school has approximately 1,050 students and is divided into four units: preschool, grades 1-3, grades 4-6, and grades 7-9.

Job Responsibilities

You will be part of a team and teach Swedish and English for grades 7-9; mentorship may be included in the position. You will work in a stimulating environment, building close relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You will, of course, participate in the development work of the team and the school.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a qualified/certified teacher for the relevant subjects and age groups. The applicant should have a working method where student influence and flexibility are a natural part.

In your pedagogical leadership, you should be attentive, inclusive, and action-oriented. You should have good pedagogical insight, be well acquainted with the governing documents of compulsory education, and have the ability to adapt teaching based on students' conditions.

We want you to have a positive view of the assignment and see it as a strength to work in a team. You are a good leader in the classroom with clarity in communication, goals, and results.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability and the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

Employment Information

The position is a temporary contract with start date as agreed until 2025-06-19. Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period. A background check is mandatory for work with children.
