The Community Building Administration is responsible for the technical supply within Mellerud Municipality. The administration works on behalf of the Municipal Executive Board, which acts as the technical committee in Mellerud Municipality.

About the operation
As an employee within the Service Unit, you, together with the operations manager, are responsible for preparing good and nutritious meals, special diets, salad preparation, serving, dishwashing, and cleaning in the kitchen. We have four production kitchens in Mellerud Municipality.

Job duties
The position is a permanent employment at 100%, currently located at Åsebro School's kitchen. The position is daytime on weekdays.
As a chef with us, you have an interest and knowledge in preparing and serving good and nutritious food to our guests. At Åsebro School's kitchen, we prepare meals for preschool and school. In addition to cooking, kitchen tasks such as cleaning, dishwashing, and stock picking are included.

Qualifications
Education in restaurant/catering and/or experience in the field is required. We prefer that you have hygiene training and computer skills. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team. We place great importance on your ability to collaborate, be meticulous, driven, flexible, stress-resistant, and have a holistic view. It is important that you are a service-oriented person with high social competence, as the work involves a lot of contact with our residents. In the job, you will use technical aids such as computers and kitchen machines.
Good language comprehension and proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement. Personal suitability will be applied.

A driving license (B) is required.
