About the job:We are looking for someone with documented experience as a kitchen assistant in larger units! We are currently seeking staff for assignments in lunch operations in Gothenburg and surrounding areas. The tasks primarily consist of:

• Assisting in cooking and preparing salad buffets, plating food, and portioning.
• Being able to peel/cut/chop vegetables/salad with precision and speed.
• Experience using larger kitchen machines safely and efficiently.
• Preparing the dining room for service, serving food, and tidying up after service.
• Washing dishes and cleaning.
• Participating in the work with self-control.

Who are you?

• We are looking for someone who wants to work in staffing and enjoys working in different environments, seeing it as a fun challenge not to have a fixed place to work every day.
• You easily grasp new instructions, have a good ability to collaborate, and are not afraid to take initiative in a new workplace.
• You are curious, willing to work, and solution-focused.
• You are self-sufficient but have no problem working in a team.
• Punctual – That is, you show up at the agreed time. ALWAYS.
• Unpretentious – You have no problem taking directives and doing what you are asked to do.
• Since you often change workplaces, it is important that you have high social competence, are responsible, organized, and flexible.
• You speak and understand Swedish fluently – This means you should be able to comprehend and communicate information and instructions both verbally and in writing.
• You have at least two years of documented experience working in either a large kitchen or a school kitchen as a kitchen assistant or chef.
• A valid extract from the criminal record.
• It is advantageous but not a requirement if you also have some form of education from a hotel and restaurant school or vocational training in the kitchen or as a meal assistant.
