The Nature Schools Svenljunga, Sötåsen, Uddetorp, and the Biological Vocational College serve as competence centers for the growth and development of the green industries. Together with the business community and researchers, the administration drives energy projects and experimental activities at the forefront in the schools. The Nature Management Administration is part of the Västra Götaland Region.

We are now looking for a substitute for our entire meal operation!

Sötåsen has a school restaurant that serves about 200 lunches per day.

Many of our students live in the school's dormitory and are therefore also served breakfast and dinner. In the school restaurant, we also have our café sales of morning and afternoon snacks. The school kitchen is KRAV-certified, and we work purposefully to create climate-adapted meals. The goal is to serve appealing, nutritious, and sustainable meals made from scratch with a large proportion of self-produced food from the school farm.

Job Responsibilities
The tasks are located in the school restaurant with usual duties such as preparation and serving of school meals, dishwashing, cleaning, and self-control. You will participate in all tasks relevant to the work team. As a substitute, you work on call when we have absences in the work team or need extra staffing.

Qualifications
We prefer that you have a high school education in restaurant and catering/restaurant and food as well as experience from the profession.

We are looking for an engaged, goal-oriented, and service-minded person who enjoys working in a team. You have good collaboration skills and thrive in a work team. You have high flexibility and like to solve tasks together with others in a team. You also have a good ability to take initiative to solve problems that may arise. You have a high service sense with the guest in focus, enjoy meeting people, and have the desire to contribute to the development of the work team and the operation.

You have an interest in working with youth and want to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and well at school. Our goal is to support students in their learning by contributing to healthy eating habits. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Conditions
Temporary employment, with immediate start. Working hours are scheduled for daytime and evening.
