Cook for nursing home – focusing on traditional Swedish cuisine and special diets

Are you a cook with knowledge and commitment who wants to contribute to creating meals that make a difference? We are looking for someone who has a feeling for Swedish traditional cuisine and knowledge of special diets, with an understanding of how important food is for the elderly.

About the position

In our kitchen, we primarily prepare traditional Swedish dishes, serving about 240 portions daily. You need to be attentive to the residents' wishes and be able to adapt meals to individual needs, including various types of special diets. Good knowledge of basic food hygiene, safe food handling, and self-control is essential. The job includes working on weekends and public holidays according to the schedule.

Qualifications

  • High school education in restaurant/catering.
  • Knowledge of traditional Swedish cuisine and experience in handling and preparing special diets.
  • Training in basic food hygiene.
  • Fluent Swedish in speech and writing, as well as computer skills.
