With the goal - We develop world-class skills for a sustainable future and the good life, the Nature Management Administration drives education within youth high school, adapted high school, adult education, and vocational college. The Nature Schools Svenljunga, Sötåsen, Uddetorp, and the Biological Vocational College serve as competence centers for the growth and development of the green industries. Together with industry and researchers, the administration drives energy projects and experimental activities at the forefront in the schools. The Nature Management Administration is part of the Västra Götaland Region.

Description

Within the Nature Management Administration, young people are educated in animals, gardening, agriculture/forestry, and forest-land-animals for the adapted high school. Currently, there are about 160 young people in the nature management program and 45 young people in the adapted high school, with approximately 80 staff members in total at the facility. Our ecological facility is currently undergoing ISO14001 certification.

We are now looking for someone who can immediately become our substitute teacher and teach Swedish and English in the nature management program at Sötåsen outside Töreboda. There are train and bus connections to Töreboda, making it easy to travel sustainably to the workplace. You should have a strong interest in teaching young people in the nature management program and want to ensure that all students are given the opportunity to develop based on their abilities and towards higher goals. If you have a connection to the green industry, that is an additional positive factor that will be useful in teaching. The school has two full-time mentors who conduct development talks and are the closest contact between home and school. Learning environments and clear pedagogy are a benchmark for us - everyone has the right to their learning.

Qualifications

You preferably have a teaching license in Swedish and English or another subject combination for high school or similar qualifications. As a teacher with us, we want you to be characterized by openness, humility, and a strong willingness to develop and collaborate. You have access to and are expected to implement and use modern digital technology in teaching.

You are a skilled educator and have experience in the teaching profession, and you have the ability to meet students individually and in groups based on a stimulating learning environment. We work with clear pedagogy in all our subjects.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Conditions

Substitute position with immediate start vt-25 and with 100% employment rate. Start date according to agreement. Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period. To obtain employment within the school, a criminal record extract is required; you can apply for one via the police's website.
