Åsarpsskolan and the after-school program are located south of Falköping in the blooming community of Åsarp, close to nature.

At the school, we have approximately 85 students from preschool class up to grade 6.

What can we offer you?

We offer you a temporary part-time position as a teaching assistant during the spring term of -25. Depending on your skills, previous experiences, and the needs of the organization, job responsibilities and scope can be discussed. Further information will be provided during the interview.

What are we looking for in you?

Åsarpsskolan has recently been renovated and expanded with modern and flexible learning environments. There is a gymnasium directly adjacent. The school is located about 20 km south of Falköping with good bus connections to nearby central towns.

We prioritize both learning and the development of social skills among our students. The guiding principles of the school and after-school program are Safety, Participation, and Learning (TDL). We have good access to digital tools and other aids to meet all students' needs for optimal learning. The school values collaboration and joy within and between the work teams F-3 and 4-6, as well as the after-school program. In our student health work, we base our approach on the EHM model, student health meeting, which contributes to everyone's participation in working with our students.

We are looking for an engaged and enthusiastic teaching assistant/pedagogue. As a person, you are structured and have a good ability to organize and plan activities around your student. You enjoy working collaboratively in teams to develop students' abilities and knowledge and have a strong ability to build relationships with students and guardians. Experience working with visual support and digital aids is an advantage. Experience within the NPF/autism spectrum is also an advantage. We place great importance on personal suitability.

The position may potentially be filled internally if a surplus of competence is identified within the organization, and recruitment will then be halted.

If you are offered employment, you must present a current extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record for work in schools or preschools in Sweden (RPS 442.5 2008-06-18/1).
