What do we do? At Nytida, you will meet people with different needs for support and care. It’s about supporting adults with psychosocial issues. Together we cook, clean, go on outings, exercise, talk, and much more. We are looking for someone who wants to get to know, understand, and be a part of another person's life.

As a residential support worker, you will start from the residents' individual needs and wishes and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff, you will work towards making the day meaningful and rich in content. You will support and guide with personal care, activities, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. You will work on a rotating schedule - day and evening shifts and every third weekend. A driver's license is required.

About Thamstorp Nytida Thamstorp is beautifully located in Grästorp municipality. Here we have 30 short-term placements for individuals aged 18 and older with no upper age limit. Our residents have psychiatric issues and often co-occurring substance abuse.

At Nytida Thamstorp, we work in teams consisting of residential support workers and nurses. The core of our work with residents is the Implementation Plan that we formulate together with the residents based on the commissioning municipality's assignment. We have a holistic view of the individual and start from both strengths and resources as well as challenges and needs, focusing on creating and establishing sustainable routines in daily life regarding food, medication, exercise, circadian rhythm, and meaningful activities.

Your experience and knowledge We believe that you who apply to us:

You have at least a high school education, preferably in care and support or similar. We are looking for someone who can provide good service, is meticulous, responsible, service-oriented, and independent. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. We prefer that you are structured and methodical in your work approach. You have good computer skills and preferably experience with documentation. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.
