About Viljan Hemmet Berg

Viljan Hemmet Berg is a safe and homely residence in a beautiful red wooden house from the early 1900s. The facility is aimed at girls aged 14-20 with psychosocial issues and/or socially destructive behavior.

Viljan Hemmet Berg is located in the northern part of Stenungsund municipality in the locality of Ödsmål, about 5 km outside Stenungsund.

We are now looking forward to welcoming a new colleague to us at Viljan! You will work full-time on a schedule which will involve round-the-clock shifts. The position is a permanent employment that begins with a 6-month probationary period.About the role of Treatment Pedagogue

A treatment pedagogue has, first and foremost, a strong commitment and interest in the target group and sees opportunities in meeting people. As a treatment pedagogue, you work closely with individuals who are in various forms of challenging life situations. The role involves contributing to a safe and supportive environment where the individual receives tools for personal development, recovery, and social functioning. By planning and implementing interventions, both individually and in groups, you support clients in their daily lives and contribute to their long-term well-being.

As a treatment pedagogue, you are a key person who helps create a meaningful and developing everyday life for those you support. The role requires you to be attentive, patient, and have good communication and collaboration skills.

At Viljan Hemmet Berg, we work with CBT as the foundational method in treatment, and the treatment pedagogues have a contact person role with the youth. This role includes treatment responsibility and planning for the specific youth in consultation with the manager. In addition, we would like you as an applicant to have an interest in driving the further development of our evidence-based treatment at the operational level.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Academic education such as behavioral science, sociology, psychology, or similar, alternatively completed YH education in treatment pedagogue/social pedagogue
• Experience working in HVB homes
• Proficient in the Swedish language in both speech and writing
• Holds a B driver's license

Meritorious:

• Further education/experience in conversation methods such as CBT/DBT or other manual-based treatment forms.
