We are currently looking for someone who wants to be part of our wonderful team and work as a personal assistant for our male client in Vänersborg.

What does this service entail?

The position is part-time and the working hours are on weekdays, during the day (from 9 AM to 2 PM or 3:15 PM).

You will support a 39-year-old man with Down syndrome, autism, and epilepsy. He lives with his parents and the family dog in Vänersborg. He is a very kind person who, in some cases, behaves like a small child. He enjoys going for car rides or playing with toys.

During your shifts, you will accompany him to his daily activities, picking him up and dropping him off at home. You will assist him with hygiene, meals, and bathroom visits. He needs your supervision throughout the shift and cannot be left alone.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive. We prefer that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.

We would like you to:

• have a genuine interest in helping others.
• be able to understand and communicate in Swedish.
• be tolerant of pets.
• know sign language (this is a plus, but not a requirement).

Employment type: As long as the assistance assignment lasts

Scope: Part-time

Working hours: Daytime. Initially 9 AM - 2:15 PM, then 9 AM - 3:15 PM

Start date: 2025-02-01

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
