Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done. With the client, there is double assistance around the clock, which means that there are always two assistants working together. Your workplace is wherever the client is, which varies between the client's home and daily activities, as well as accompanying them during various activities.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a woman in her 30s living in Partille just outside Gothenburg
• has a few years of work experience and is confident in themselves
• has experience with low-arousal approaches
• has very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have experience with autism
• have experience with epilepsy

The greatest emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the positions are approximately 70-75%. The job involves working during the day, evening, and night on a rotating schedule. Working hours vary between 08:00-15:00, 08:00-20:00, 15:00-20:00, and night 20:00-08:00 (2 hours on-call during the night).

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with the collective agreement.

Being employed at Humana
