JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for another licensed occupational therapist to complement our team!

You will be part of a team consisting of 3 physiotherapists, 4 occupational therapists, and 1 rehabilitation assistant. You will be offered a stimulating and flexible job where you control large parts of your workday with a lot of personal responsibility. At the same time, you will work closely with other professionals in the municipal health and medical care. The entire municipality's home healthcare is based in shared facilities at Hagens elderly care home, and we work throughout the Herrljunga municipality.

Your tasks include assessing individual activity capabilities and needs for training and assistive devices. Together with the patient and the team, you will set goals, and then plan actions. The work includes testing and prescribing assistive devices according to the prescription process. You will primarily meet patients in their homes or in special accommodations/group homes.

You will also play an important role in raising the competence of other healthcare staff within the municipality, where you will contribute your expertise and experiences through further education and supervision.

Travel in the job may occur. The workplace applies flexible working hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in municipal healthcare is an advantage, but we also welcome you as a recent graduate or with experiences in other areas. You hold a B driver's license.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently, organizing, and planning their workday effectively and according to set goals. You can handle unforeseen situations, prioritize, and restructure your day when new situations arise.

As you will meet many different people in various situations in this role, it is important that you can adapt your communication and approach. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
