JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Carlanderska Health Center works with a fixed doctor contact for our specialists and resident doctors. The care maintains a high quality, and we have approximately 18,000 registered patients. About 50 employees from various professions work with us.

In addition to specialist nurse clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, heart/vessel/hypertension, we also have a heart failure clinic. We have three psychologists who offer high availability. We also have a geriatric clinic, district nurse clinics, and a coordination responsibility for special housing and short-term housing. In 2025, the Carlanderska Health Center will move into newly built premises on Eklandagatan.

We are looking for someone who wants to complete their specialist training (ST) in general medicine at the Carlanderska Health Center. As a resident doctor, you will undertake a time-limited specialist training consisting of education and medical work under supervision. As a resident doctor with us, you will work broadly with different patient groups, examining, diagnosing, and creating treatment plans. The work also includes referring to other instances and specialists, prescribing medications, and providing medical information and advice to patients.

You will be an integral part of the Health Center, where you will work independently and follow your own patients. You will have the opportunity to use your medical knowledge and develop within the profession, as your work takes place under the guidance of experienced specialist doctors. We place great importance on good mentorship and accessibility to colleagues for the best support and development.

QUALIFICATIONS

To work as a resident doctor with us, you need to be a licensed physician and have an ongoing or soon-to-begin specialist training in general medicine. We are looking for someone who is engaged in the future of primary care, is curious, and wants to develop within their professional role. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Previous experience working in primary care is a merit.
