Senior Social Worker for Family Law

The Social Services in Vänersborg Municipality is seeking a Senior Social Worker for Family Law.

We are looking for someone who is a social worker or has equivalent education with experience in the field of family law.

It is an advantage if you have previously held positions as a team leader, but this is not a requirement. In your role, you will lead four family law social workers.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Social Worker, you will have a leadership and method-supporting responsibility for employees in the organization both individually and in groups. You will not have personnel responsibility. Together with the unit manager and in close dialogue with the employees, you will have a guiding, consulting, collaborating, and developing function within the unit.

As a team leader, you will lead and distribute the daily work based on needs and resources and provide each employee with the support and guidance required based on a situational leadership approach.

The developing function involves a responsibility, together with the unit manager, for routines and other organizational development work required in the organization. The guiding function partly involves following up on the quality of the work performed and providing each employee with feedback and support based on needs.

This position also includes being an operational case handler, meaning managing your own cases individually or together with one of the group's family law social workers. Together with the group, you will ensure that all cases are handled within the time limits applicable in the organization.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a social worker or has equivalent education with experience in the field of family law. It is advantageous if you have previously held positions as a team leader, but this is not a requirement.

As a person, you are trustworthy, collaborative, and structured. You should be confident in the role that involves leading and distributing tasks. You are good at building good relationships and professionally meeting people regardless of who you encounter and in what context.

We place great emphasis on social competence and personal suitability.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
