The Social Administration Hisingen is part of the social services in the City of Gothenburg. We are one of four social administrations. We work purposefully to create a better everyday life for the residents of Hisingen.

We offer support in individual and family care, social emergency services, assistance with addiction issues, and integration matters. We also work with leisure activities and preventive work regarding public health, community planning, local safety work, and integration issues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We at the Social Administration Hisingen are now looking for an engaged and driven youth supervisor who wants to make a difference for children and young people in Hisingen.

In an effort to achieve a better understanding of the everyday life and working conditions of uniformed personnel, the police authority, rescue services, Gothenburg trams, and Sahlgrenska ambulance services have a collaboration with the City of Gothenburg. The purpose is for the youth to get to know the person behind the uniform & for community-supporting functions to get to know the youth under the cap.

MBU consists of two parts, the course activities and the ambassador activities. Your mission will be to operate in both areas.

Main Responsibilities

• Participate in steering groups and working groups to drive the operations forward
• Budget and purchases in consultation with the manager
• Collaborate with emergency services and other parties
• Be responsible for the implementation of courses and ambassador activities
• Ongoing documentation and evaluation

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who has:

• Leisure leader education or other education that the employer considers equivalent
• Experience in youth work, learning processes, and participation processes
• Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing
• Meritorious if you have experience working with MBU and KEKS/logbook

A B driver's license is an advantage!

You are structured, goal-oriented, and have an easy time building relationships and collaborating with others. Furthermore, you are committed to creating long-term positive effects for children's and young people's leisure and health. You are also self-driven, creative, proactive, communicative, and norm-aware.

The position involves evening and weekend work.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
