Are you social, caring, and enjoy doing activities? Then we are looking for you as a personal assistant for one of our clients in Alingsås.

What does this service entail?

You will support an 18-year-old young woman with personal care, communication, and activities. She lives with her family and their dog in Alingsås. Your working hours will mainly be on weekends.

Here you will help an active and cheerful girl who enjoys being outdoors regardless of the weather. She likes to throw a ball, go for walks, or swim. You will be helpful and involved throughout the activity, both to inspire and to supervise.

The girl is social and does not speak but shows what she wants. She understands what you say and can follow instructions. It takes time to get to know her, but over time you will be a support for her in communication with others. It is an advantage if you have previous experience with AAC or can use pictures and signs to support communication.

Your work will include assisting with personal care, such as hygiene and eating. You will also perform certain household tasks related to the client's functional variation.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged and who ultimately wants to create a safe and rewarding relationship with the client.

The client is looking for someone who:

• Is a woman
• Is active and enjoys being outdoors
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Can tolerate pets
• Has knowledge or experience of functional variations
• Preferably has a B driver's license

Additional information

Employment type: As long as the assistance assignment lasts

Scope: Part-time

Working hours: Weekend, daytime on Saturday and Sunday. There may be changes in hours or you may work more shifts than scheduled.

Start date: By agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
