RESPONSIBILITIES

Teleskopgatan 3 Preschool is now looking for a dedicated, flexible, positive, and engaged preschool teacher. You who apply are amazed by children's development and learning and see differences as enriching.

We have created a schedule structure where you as a preschool teacher have scheduled planning time. This creates a structure that gives you better conditions to lead your team and plan for good teaching. You will also have the opportunity to meet colleagues in various development forums where you discuss teaching and education. As a preschool teacher with us, you will be responsible for the children's education and teaching together with your team. You are expected to work goal-oriented, plan, implement, analyze, and evaluate the teaching according to our governing documents. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for documentation and evaluation of children's learning processes, this work takes place through our learning platform Unikum.

An important part is to inspire children to discover for themselves and to make both children and parents feel involved in the activities. Through a conscious approach, we want to offer activities that are inspiring, exciting, and developing for both children, parents, and educators.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed preschool teacher. You are passionate about providing all children with the best education to develop and learn based on their conditions, interests, and experiences, both indoors and outdoors. A requirement is that you have good Swedish in both speech and writing.

You have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. By being interested and creating understanding for others, you promote a respectful work climate. You understand the common mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole.

You see solutions and are involved in solving and managing challenges we face. You see opportunities for changes and create situations where new ideas and proposals can develop. You motivate and describe pedagogical changes and handle criticism of change in a constructive manner. You drive long-term and sustainable change work, both at the local and overarching level.

You see systematic quality work as a prerequisite for ensuring good quality in teaching. You understand that pedagogical work requires close interaction, humility, and coexistence with the children so you can support and challenge, follow and document the individuals' and group's learning processes.

The pedagogical learning environments are a development area in the preschool and you understand the significance of learning environments and materials for children's education. You have an understanding of how an environment can support children's learning and ability for independence and participation.

It is meritorious to have knowledge of, tools for, and experience working with children who have Swedish as a second language.

Experience working with children with disabilities is also meritorious as we develop our methods in both planned and spontaneous teaching to support and challenge all children's abilities in their learning process.
