JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for preschool teachers who want to help create the best possible conditions for the children at Mölnesjögatan 165-166 preschool. Currently, the position is in a younger children's department.

We are located at Länkharvsgatan 3 but after the summer, we will move back to our newly renovated premises at Mölnesjögatan 165-166. Our preschool will consist of four departments, but right now we have three departments.

You will be responsible, together with your colleagues, for planning, implementing, evaluating, documenting, and developing the educational activities. We focus on the children's interests, and their participation is important. We create creative environments where children can find their ways to express themselves. Our task is to nurture children's curiosity and be encouraging and good adult role models. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for leading and developing the department's activities in line with the curriculum's goals, together with your team. The children's best interests are always in focus, and we create equity by starting from each child's needs and conditions.

The preschool teacher has the primary pedagogical responsibility. You should feel that you are part of the team and contribute to a good workplace where you support, encourage, and challenge each other in a safe climate. An important part of the work is also to have good cooperation with the children's guardians.

We have pedagogical lunches and provide work clothes for outdoor use, and you have your own iPad as a work tool. We also offer guidance from the child health special educator regarding children in need of extra adjustments and support, pedagogical documentation, reflection on the activities, and more.

We are now looking for someone with experience who wants to help start up in our newly renovated premises and lay the foundation for their continued education and hope that you want to be part of that journey!

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are an educated preschool teacher with a license. The role also requires that you can handle the preschool's digital tools and master Swedish fluently in speech and writing. If you have experience leading collegial learning, systematic quality work, and developing work with learning environments, it is an advantage.

If you are a newly graduated preschool teacher, you will receive a mentor upon your employment. The mentor is part of a central group and is tasked with helping you get a good start in your professional life with us.

As a person, you can work both independently and together with others and have a professional approach to children, guardians, and colleagues. You handle conflicts in a sensitive and constructive manner. You enjoy leading and motivating others and sharing your experiences and knowledge. You are pedagogical and have the ability to create teaching situations throughout the day, both indoors and outdoors. You see play as an important tool in children's learning. To thrive in the role, you also need to be responsible and structured with a good ability to plan and prioritize your work effectively.
