Care Administration is looking for an Economist for a Temporary Position

The Care Administration is divided into four operational areas – regular housing, special housing, support and services for people with disabilities, and health and medical care. The administration also includes the authority unit and the department for administration and development.

Together with three economist colleagues, you will support the managers within the Care Administration with ongoing financial management and analyses of the operations. You will work with year-end closing and budget processes within various operational areas and guide the operations in maintaining a balanced budget. The tasks also include other finance/controller responsibilities. You will provide support and contribute to a greater understanding of financial issues by working consultatively. You will also work with procurements for the administration and support the operations in their inquiries. You will have the central procurement unit to assist you in this.

The temporary position is initially until September 30, 2025, with the possibility of extension starting as soon as possible or by agreement. We offer full-time during the temporary position with a work schedule of 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with the possibility of flexibility. Your workplace will be Kasern Johnsson located in the beautiful T4 area, about a 15-minute walk from the station.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree in economics.

To handle the tasks in a qualified manner, it is desirable that you have previous professional experience as an economist. You are fully familiar with managing year-end closing, budgets, forecasts, and follow-up work. Strong computer skills and very good knowledge of the Office suite, as well as the ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish, are required.

Experience from the public sector and work in various areas within municipal care and support services is an advantage. You are accustomed to working with reporting tools, and we would prefer if you have experience with the financial system UNIT4/UBW and the analysis tool Qlikview/PowerBI.

Especially important for the position is that you have a very good ability to structure and prioritize your work effectively. We expect you to collaborate easily while also having a self-driven approach. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and suitability.
