Vårdcentralen Laröd is a stable, well-functioning, and expanding unit with over 6800 registered patients and 300 registered children at the associated child health center (BVC). In the autumn of 2023, we opened a new branch focused on health promotion and prevention. The branch is located in an adjacent area, where we offer consultations with psychologists, physiotherapists, dietitians, and child health services. In the near future, we will expand with a medical clinic at the branch.

Currently, we have 35 dedicated and driven employees across various professional categories. We offer a wide range of services including BVC, medical consultations, district nurse consultations, specialist nurse consultations for asthma/allergy/COPD, diabetes, infections, lifestyle habits, vaccinations, memory clinics, and elderly care consultations, as well as consultations with occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, and psychologists. We are committed to providing our patients with good accessibility, respectful treatment, continuity, security, and high medical competence. JOB DESCRIPTION

We welcome a medical secretary who is excited to help shape the future of primary care!

In the role of medical secretary, you will be involved in driving and following up on our operations' change and improvement work. We are currently in the starting blocks to develop and try out new exciting working methods. Additionally, you will work with common tasks for a medical secretary at a health center. This includes various administrative tasks to support our other staff in their daily work. A typical work week includes tasks such as working in 1177, booking patients, reception work, telephone service, IT issues, managing medical records, and scanning documents. Some of the doctors use speech recognition (TIK), which means that the number of dictated records may vary.

With us, you will work in a team with colleagues from different professions. You will have several different administrative responsibilities that we adapt to your skills, interests, and the needs of the organization. The various tasks provide a varied job with great development opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you with an education in health and medical care administration of 80 KY points or 400 YH points, or equivalent medical secretary training. Additionally, you have good knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency in the Swedish language in both speech and writing. We consider it an advantage if you have an interest in or experience with IT issues. Previous experience as a medical secretary is also beneficial.
