The Eye Care Unit (VE) belongs to the area of operations (VO) dermatology, reproductive medicine, and eye care. VE eye care has approximately 220 employees and operates in both Malmö and Lund. In addition to meeting the residents' needs for eye care in Malmö and Lund, we also provide regional care for Halland, Kronoberg, and Blekinge. Furthermore, we are at the forefront of both basic and specialist training for doctors. Additionally, research is conducted in close collaboration with Lund University.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome a service-oriented medical secretary to VE eye care.

As a medical secretary with us, you will perform common tasks for a medical secretary focusing on special areas, which includes writing medical records and follow-up work. You will also work in a team with both doctors and nurses, putting the patient at the center. Additionally, you will have your own area of responsibility. There is an opportunity to work from home one to two days a week if desired.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a recognized education in Health and Medical Care Administration 80p KY or 400p YH or equivalent medical secretary training. You should have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Furthermore, you should have good knowledge of medical terminology. Previous work experience as a medical secretary and experience with systems such as Melior and PASiS is an advantage.

As a person, you are positive, flexible, and meticulous. We value responsibility and a high sense of service. You enjoy coordinating and varied tasks. You have good collaboration skills and a pleasant demeanor towards your surroundings.
