Compliance Specialist at Mercedes Benz

About the position:

In the role of Compliance Specialist at Mercedes Benz, you will play a central role in supporting the business in both the Swedish and Danish markets and ensuring that Mercedes Benz complies with all relevant laws and regulations.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
• Provide advice and support to various teams on compliance issues, such as:
• Anti-corruption
• Anti-money laundering
• Sanctions
• Customer analyses
• Due diligence of sales partners
• Collaborate with their headquarters in Stuttgart and other departments to ensure that high standards are maintained.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of compliance and is ready to develop in new areas. You are analytical and have the ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way.

• Bachelor's degree in law, economics, auditing, or a related field.
• At least two years of relevant experience, for example from an auditing firm, law firm, bank, finance company, or government agency.
• Knowledge of Swedish and Danish regulations.
• Fluent in English and at least one of the languages Swedish or Danish.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems in a structured way.
• Strong integrity and ethical compass.

Location & conditions:

The position is full-time and based in Malmö at the Mercedes Benz office, with some commuting to the office in Copenhagen and travel to other offices, such as Germany. The assignment is initially a consulting assignment through us at Jefferson Wells with a great opportunity to transition to employment with Mercedes Benz.
