In the Vellinge locality, you will find Almgården activity house where the home care service is based. A short walk will take you to Vellinge Ängar with good bus connections.

In the position of care assistant, you will work with care and support according to the client's wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. You will help with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, responding to alarms, and being there for social interaction. Social interaction is an important part of our work to ensure that everyone can live life to the fullest. This can involve everything from chatting, playing games, going on outings, or finding fun activities to do together. You will also work with delegated tasks from licensed personnel in the form of medication administration and training.

Job Description

We are currently looking for part-time colleagues for permanent employment with a probationary period of 6 months, starting date to be agreed upon.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a care assistant
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form
• A valid driver's license or the ability to cycle

We also consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in home care.

To thrive in the position, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at building good relationships and being service-oriented. With us, we work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to present an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
