The Laröd Health Center is a stable, well-functioning, and expanding unit with 6,800 registered patients and 300 registered children at the associated child health clinic (BVC). We have recently opened a branch focusing on health promotion, preventive, and early interventions. The branch is located in an adjacent area, and here we offer consultations with psychologists, physiotherapists, dietitians, and a child health clinic. In the near future, we will expand with a medical and nursing clinic at the branch, and we want you to be part of this development!

We see our team spirit as a guiding principle and have close collaboration among all our different professions. We place great emphasis on reception and have a flexible working method to find a well-functioning everyday life and meet our patients' needs. We have about 35 dedicated employees from various professional categories working in interdisciplinary teams to provide the best possible care for our patients. The team consists of specialist doctors, training doctors, district nurses, nurses with specialist competence, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and secretaries. Furthermore, we offer child health clinic (BVC), medical consultations, district nurse consultations, specialist nurse consultations for allergy-asthma-COPD, diabetes, infections, lifestyle habits, vaccinations, memory clinic, and elderly care consultations, as well as consultations with occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, and psychologists.

We are also proud to be an academic health center (AVC), which means we receive research assignments from the Center for Primary Care Research (CPF). This means we build bridges between the academic world and primary care. We participate in several research studies, including those related to lifestyle habits.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In our organization, the role of a nurse or district nurse involves participating in the opening and development of our clinic at the Mariastaden branch. Your tasks are varied and primarily consist of outpatient work and assessment of acute patients, as well as some telephone counseling and chat. The work is largely independent, which means being able to make your own assessments and decisions while colleagues are always available.

At our unit, we work daily with joint assessments where you, as a nurse, together with doctors and other professionals, assess patients as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare, preferably with further education as a district nurse. Language skills in Swedish should at least correspond to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale of requirements. Additionally, it is advantageous if you have work experience from primary care and experience in your own outpatient work.

You are a person who is both confident in yourself and in your nursing role. Furthermore, you have a patient-focused working method and are meticulous in your work. You also have a flexible approach and can adjust your pace and working methods according to what each situation requires. Additionally, we value if you have team spirit, are engaged, and have the ability to take initiative. You are clear, trustworthy, and have a good ability to structure and prioritize your work. Moreover, you are careful to always maintain high quality and provide our patients with the best possible care.
