Palliative care and Advanced Home Care (ASIH) provide care for seriously ill patients in need of specialized treatment, regardless of age or diagnosis. Care can be provided as inpatient care, admission to ASIH, outpatient care, or in the home and special accommodations. The goal of the care is to offer qualified care around the clock so that patients can achieve the highest possible quality of life. Care is provided in close collaboration with the patient and their relatives.

The operation in Ystad is a unit consisting of teams with nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians, doctors, medical secretaries, hospital chaplains, psychologists, and unit managers. We continuously work to develop and strengthen teamwork to create an attractive workplace. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for two nurses, one for the position in the care department and one nurse for the position in ASIH. The work involves making assessments and providing care in the home or in the care department. The purpose of the care is to collaborate with the patient and alleviate the symptoms that the patient is troubled by in order to achieve the highest possible quality of life. This means addressing the patient's physical, psychological, and existential needs as well as providing support to their relatives. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare, preferably with a few years of professional experience. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. We would like you to have specialist training in oncology and/or palliative care. As the operation consists of care placements in the patient's own home or in special accommodations, a valid B driver's license is required for the position.

Part of the work involves support and conversations, so it is important that you are communicative and have the ability to meet people on different levels. Furthermore, you have a flexible approach and can prioritize between different tasks when the work pace is high.
