You will have the opportunity to participate in specialized emergency care alongside competent doctors and nursing staff. We place great emphasis on further development both internally and through universities and colleges. You will be part of a fantastic workgroup where the sense of belonging is high.

Currently, we have 26 care places and 2 IMA places, intermediate care places. Our care consists of taking care of patients with expected short hospital stays. We care for patients with varying medical and surgical nursing needs, from young to multi-sick elderly who have fallen ill acutely. AVA is a great department to develop in, for both newly graduated and experienced nurses and is a popular department among students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your future role as a nurse at AVA, you will work in a team close to doctors, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists where the patient is the focus. We work with short hospital stays and rapid changes in the care process, all based on what is best for the patient. We place great value on team spirit in the department.

At AVA, we have a strong focus on education and improvement work. We want our employees to have the opportunity to further educate themselves in their daily work as well as through external courses. Working hours can be scheduled for days or nights, weekdays as well as weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are a requirement.

As a person, you are welcoming, driven, and work with care and respect towards both patients and colleagues. In our emergency care department, it is important that you can work both independently and in a team. We value a strong willingness to learn and develop.
