Job Responsibilities

Currently, Baltiska Bowling Hall in the stadium area is looking for a new employee who, together with competent colleagues, will manage the bowling hall and take care of the associations that train and compete with us!

Work in the bowling hall is varied, and you are expected to work both independently and as part of a team. Examples of tasks include cleaning, reception work, as well as opening and closing the bowling hall and other sports facilities in the stadium area. You are expected to create good contact with a high level of service for the associations and the public who use the bowling hall. Operating machines and administrative work may occur. At times, the work is fast-paced and can be physically demanding. The position includes evening and weekend shifts.

You will be based at Baltiska Bowling Hall but may be required to work at other facilities in the stadium area as needed.

The position is a temporary contract.

Qualifications

The basic requirement is that you have a high school diploma or other education and/or experience that the employer considers equivalent, as well as a B driver's license. We would like you to have previous experience in competitive bowling, cleaning, and/or association life. Experience in service and customer contact is an advantage. Additionally, training in the handling of various machines and tools is included in the position.

To succeed in this role, you should be responsible, engaged, and safety-conscious. You are well-organized, see what needs to be done, and have an eye for detail. Furthermore, you contribute to good collaboration within the team. It is essential that you are positive, loyal, and flexible. Since you will be working daily with elite associations, this places high demands on your service level and flexibility. We expect you to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills and IT knowledge.

About the Workplace

Stadium Area
The stadium is part of the operations department within the leisure administration, which works to meet the needs of Malmö residents in the same way and with the same service throughout the city. At the stadium, we work closely with the events and recreation department as well as the association department. The goal is to deliver high-quality service to everyone who uses or visits the leisure administration's facilities, which includes sports activities from beginners to elite level. The stadium area includes several larger facilities for training, matches, and public events such as Baltiska Hall, Ice Stadium, Atleticum, Baltiska Bowling Hall, Malmö IP, Malmö Stadium, grass fields, and artificial turf fields. The area also hosts school activities with about 600 students.
