The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, primary school, leisure centers, high school, adult education, and child and student health. Here, about 1100 employees work together to create a safe and developing school and childcare.

The adapted primary school in Ystad operates at Edvinshem School for grades 1-6 and at Västerport School for grades 7-9. We have about 60 students studying subjects and subject areas. At Edvinshem School, we also have a leisure center for grades 1-6.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Together with the principal and EHT, you will have overall responsibility for working with the student's learning environment at the individual, group, and organizational level. You will be responsible for providing operational support in everyday life while being an important part of the long-term development of our operations. This position is newly established, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in shaping the assignment.

Your duties include mapping, investigations, and decisions regarding special support, documentation in Prorenata, guidance, observations, meetings with students and guardians, internal training, etc. You need to constantly update yourself on research and proven experience.

You should have the ability to work both independently and in various types of groups and teams. You need to be attentive and have an easy time building good relationships. You are solution-focused and have the ability to find a way for the student to develop.

Your assignment is from grades 1-9, and your working hours will be divided between Edvinshem School and Västerport School.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are an educated and licensed special educator.

It is advantageous if you have experience from both primary school and adapted primary school. It is also advantageous if you have experience teaching grades F-6.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
