The picturesque village of Krika outside Klippan is located just below Söderåsen with its beautiful nature. The village has about 200 inhabitants.

Krika Bygdeskola has been a parent-driven, non-profit village school since 1995. The school is run by a non-profit association where all parents are members.

The school has chosen to prioritize small groups with about 16-18 students per class, to truly have the time and opportunity to see and help the students.

Job Responsibilities:

Due to parental leave, we are now looking for a teaching assistant/recreational pedagogue at the school. The position is 100%. Starting March 2025.

As a teaching assistant and recreational pedagogue at Krika Bygdeskola, you contribute your special competence and focus to ensure that the school and recreation meet the goals and intentions of the curriculum. You have a goal-oriented job that promotes each student's development and learning. You collaborate with the class mentor and are primarily responsible for a student with NPF, as well as being a resource in the class where other needs exist; after school hours, your work continues in recreation.

As a resource at the school and a pedagogue in recreation, you work to promote each student's development and learning. Your responsibility includes creating good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are an adult role model for all students at the school.

Qualifications: We are looking for someone with a completed high school education and preferably a post-secondary education in pedagogy. It is a plus if you are a trained teaching assistant, have experience with children with NPF, are a trained recreational pedagogue, or similar.

You should master tools such as low-arousal responses, clear leadership, clarifying pedagogy, and uphold a good value foundation.

You have the ability to see each child/student as a unique person and can meet each individual where they are in their development. Experience is an asset but not a requirement.

You want to exercise your pedagogical leadership as present, supportive, and challenging. You are attentive to the children's abilities and striving in their development towards set goals.

You are engaged and collaborative and have an inner security.

Start date March 2025.

Other Requirements

The position is subject to a background check. Applicants must present an extract from the police criminal record before employment occurs.
