JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a driven and engaged teacher in mathematics and science/technology who is passionate about inspiring students? Do you want to make a difference in a school that puts students' development and learning at the center? We are now looking for a teacher in Math/Science to strengthen our team and contribute to our students' success!

In addition to being responsible for your own teaching, you are expected to participate in developing Nyhamn School in various ways, be involved in different development processes, and actively participate in collegial learning with your work team.

As a teacher with us, you will have the opportunity to:

• develop teaching in mathematics, science, and technology for grades 7-9
• plan, implement, and evaluate teaching based on our governing documents
• collaborate with engaged colleagues in collegial learning to develop both your teaching and students' results
• work with a student-centered approach that creates safety and a desire to learn

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is a certified teacher in mathematics, science, and technology
• has a commitment to creating meaningful and inclusive teaching that challenges and develops all students
• is flexible, solution-oriented, and enjoys collaborating in teams
• wants to contribute to the school's development and work to strengthen both students' results and engagement
• enjoys creating exciting and interesting lessons that make students look forward to their next lesson
• is flexible and has the willingness to see opportunities instead of obstacles
• wants to make a difference for our students
