Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a qualified teacher for teaching in grade 2. The position is a temporary reinforcement in the grade with a predominant focus on one of the classes. The role includes teaching in full class as well as in smaller groups. The assignment involves regular teacher tasks such as planning and implementing lessons and assessing students' knowledge. To succeed in your role, you need to demonstrate good collaboration skills and be clear in your classroom leadership.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a licensed teacher with qualifications for teaching grades 1-3. If you have previous experience working as a teacher, we see it as an advantage. It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of a language development approach and experience working with reading. You have a good understanding of and knowledge about the school's governing documents and can effectively use them in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment for our students throughout their school day.

Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work and with a good understanding and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. Of course, you have a professional approach and work towards good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school. You have a positive view of students and as a person, you are inspiring, responsible, attentive, and easy to collaborate with.

About the Workplace

Elinelund School is located in a developing district in the southern parts of Malmö. We are close to exciting nature next to the limestone quarry, and our learning environments create good conditions for teaching and learning. The school is newly built with modern facilities, including workrooms for staff and group rooms for all home classrooms. The school is a K-9 school with about 730 students. To create coherence for our students, it is important that our teams are effective and that we develop together.
