We are now looking for someone who wants to work either at our clinic in Landskrona or Ängelholm.

The pediatric and adolescent outpatient clinics in Landskrona and Ängelholm consist of doctors, pediatric nurses, medical secretaries, and psychologists. Through the area of operation, there is access to physiotherapists, dietitians, and social workers. Together, we work with the patient in focus. In our units, we have short communication paths and quickly move from thought to action, which is possible with a good team spirit and close collaboration both within the unit and within our area of operation.

The clinics are part of the pediatric and adolescent department at Helsingborg Hospital, which provides care for children and adolescents at the hospitals in Helsingborg, Landskrona, and Ängelholm. In Helsingborg, in addition to outpatient services, there is also a pediatric and adolescent emergency department, pediatric and adolescent ward, neonatal ward, and day care unit. In total, we have over 250 employees within the area of operation, covering a range from premature infants to nearly adults.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your work at the pediatric and adolescent medicine clinic involves daytime work with outpatient services at a specialist level within pediatric and adolescent medicine for ages 0 to 18 years. At the clinic, children and adolescents are assessed and treated for conditions such as asthma, allergic diseases, abdominal pain, poor growth, headaches, and obesity, among others. The position also includes general pediatric consulting assignments in addition to regular duties at the clinic. In your work, you will have close collaboration and exchange with colleagues both within and outside your own area of operation for the best care of the children and adolescents.

The placement for the position is at our clinic in Ängelholm or Landskrona.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed physician with specialist competence in pediatric and adolescent medicine, with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Furthermore, it is a requirement for the position that you have language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale. Knowledge of the Melior journal system is an advantage for the position.
