The Laröd Health Center is a stable, well-functioning, and expanding unit with 6,800 registered patients and 300 registered children at the associated child health center (BVC). We have recently opened a branch focusing on health promotion, prevention, and early interventions. The branch is located in an adjacent area, and here we offer consultations with psychologists, physiotherapists, dietitians, and a child health center. In the near future, we will expand with a doctor and nurse clinic at the branch, and we want you to be part of the development!

With us, we see our team spirit as a guiding principle and have close collaboration between all our different professions. We place great emphasis on reception and have a flexible working method to find a well-functioning everyday life and meet our patients' needs. An open dialogue and short decision-making paths mean that ideas and improvement suggestions are warmly welcomed, and we want everyone to be involved in the development of the health center.

We have about 35 dedicated employees from various professional categories working in interdisciplinary teams to provide the best possible care for our patients. The team consists of specialist doctors, training doctors, district nurses, nurses with specialist competence, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and secretaries. Furthermore, we offer child health center (BVC), medical consultations, district nurse consultations, specialist nurse consultations for allergy-asthma-COPD, diabetes, infections, lifestyle habits, vaccinations, memory clinic, and elderly care consultations, as well as consultations with occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, and psychologists.

We are also proud to be an academic health center (AVC), which means we receive research assignments from the Center for Primary Care Research (CPF). This means we build bridges between the academic world and primary care. We participate in several research studies, including those related to lifestyle habits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, the role of nurse or district nurse means being involved in the opening and development of our clinic at the Mariastaden branch. Your tasks are varied and mainly consist of clinic work and assessment of acute patients, as well as some telephone advice and chat. The work is largely independent, which means being able to make your own assessments and decisions while colleagues are always available.

At our unit, we work daily with joint assessments where you, as a nurse, together with doctors and other professionals assess patients as needed.

At the same time, there is a larger organization in the background that provides support and opportunities for development and exchange of experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with permission to work in Swedish healthcare, preferably with further education as a district nurse. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale of requirements. Additionally, it is advantageous if you have work experience from primary care and experience with your own clinic work.

You as a person are both secure in yourself and in your nursing role. Furthermore, you have a patient-focused working method and are meticulous in your work. You also have a flexible approach and can adapt your pace and working methods according to what each situation requires. Additionally, we value if you have team spirit, are engaged, and have the ability to take initiative. You are clear, trustworthy, and have a good ability to structure and prioritize your work. Moreover, you are careful to always maintain high quality and provide our patients with the best possible care.
